Formerly Toro Rosso and later rebranded as AlphaTauri, Red Bull’s Italian-based Formula 1 team has unveiled its new identity as Visa Cash App RB. In a significant development, payment giant Visa has emerged as the global partner for both F1 teams owned by Red Bull.

The upcoming Formula 1 season will see AlphaTauri transformed into Visa Cash App RB, marking a departure from the team’s previous association with Red Bull’s fashion label over the past four seasons. This rebranding comes in the wake of a leadership change within the team and a revised strategic approach aimed at enhancing competitiveness on the track.

In a noteworthy collaboration, Visa has agreed a multi-year deal to become a global partner for both Red Bull-owned teams. This partnership extends to both the title-winning team based in Milton Keynes and the Italy-based former AlphaTauri team. The Visa logo will prominently feature on both teams’ cars, and it will also be integrated into the title name of the rebranded AlphaTauri team, now known as Visa Cash App RB. The inclusion of Cash App in the team’s full name emphasises the collaboration with the popular money app.

As the new season unfolds, familiar faces Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda will continue to represent the team on the racetrack. The strategic rebranding and partnership with Visa are poised to bring fresh energy and visibility to Red Bull’s Formula 1 ventures.
